Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Outlanders collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information across the consumer site, trip planning surfaces, destination views, booking-related flows, and support channels.

What we collect
- Account details such as your name, email address, login information, and profile preferences.
- Trip-planning inputs, saved itineraries, wishlist activity, search terms, and destination interactions inside the platform.
- Booking and payment-operation details such as activity selections, dates, guest counts, payment provider order IDs, payment status, refund status, dispute status, commission, supplier payable amount, and payout review status.
- Support messages, contact requests, and operational information needed to help with bookings, supplier issues, payment review, refunds, disputes, or platform problems.
- Technical data such as device/browser information, approximate location signals, IP address, and session or cookie identifiers used to keep the platform working.
How we use your data
- To operate the Outlanders website, authenticate accounts, save trips, and personalize destination, itinerary, and planning surfaces.
- To provide map, place, and destination context through our own data plus third-party enrichment services when needed.
- To process payments, confirm bookings, prevent double-booking, calculate platform commission, manage refund or dispute review, and support supplier payout operations.
- To handle support, platform security, fraud prevention, abuse monitoring, and operational troubleshooting.
- To improve product quality, analytics, and reliability, including understanding which features are being used and where requests fail.
Third-party services
- We use third-party providers for authentication, maps, place enrichment, payments, analytics, and email delivery where relevant to the product flow.
- These providers may include services such as Google, Mapbox, Stripe, Razorpay, and infrastructure or database providers supporting the platform.
- Payment providers may send Outlanders webhook events for payments, refunds, disputes, settlements, account verification, and related operational states so bookings and payout review can stay accurate.
- We share only the information reasonably necessary for those services to work, and their own terms and privacy policies also apply.
Bookings, suppliers, and destination data
- When you interact with supplier activities, bookings, or destination content, we may store the details needed to show listings, remember preferences, and support operational review.
- For suppliers, we may collect business, KYC, PAN, bank, IFSC, payout, and verification details required to review the account and prepare marketplace payment flows.
- Destination and place information may be sourced from curated Outlanders imports, supplier submissions, map data providers, and enrichment services.
- Some place details or images are cached so the same destination does not need to be fetched from a third-party service every single time. The app deserves better manners than that.
Your choices
- You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, subject to legal, security, and operational limitations.
- You can also choose not to provide certain information, though some features may stop working properly if key data is missing.
